The Cupcake Song - Humanized

Hey, guys. I know I've been missing for the past couple of days but that's just because it's been a hectic week of projects lately and I've just recently finished my latest one, that being a video.

Now, normally, I wouldn't bother you so much with my Video & Audio Production assignments but this specific one is an animation assignment that was pretty much a "make-anything-you-want" kind of deal and, naturally, I decided that I should make a pony video.

Well... not exactly.

Originally, I wanted to use ponies but I thought that I could do so much more by using a human instead. So, as a compromise, I decided to use a humanized pony and chose to do Pinkie Pie and to animate to the Cupcake Song.

You see, for this assignment, pretty much "anything goes" as long as we were creative, our video was complex and had lots of layers and movement, was colourful, and had text and music. Hopefully, I've met all the requirements that my teacher set out for us and have made something which is at least "okay". I definitely am not the best animator in the fandom as I'm still learning this stuff, but for what it's worth, I'm proud of it and I hope you guys will like it too.

Everything in the video was drawn and animated by me. It took me three days to make the whole 35-second clip and about an entire week to plan it out perfectly and it was exhausting, let me tell you that. It's got a lot of crazy art in it as well, so I'll be sure to upload some of them here on the site momentarily.

In short, yes, I have been slacking off lately. I hope this video makes up for it.
