Hopefully, Zecora will find and guide them.
So, this is the first time I've done a digital piece of this quality. I just wanted to make something a little more challenging and truth be told, this piece actually took me two days to finish.
Now, I know there are a lot of anatomical mistakes with the ponies but they weren't my main focus when drawing this image. I was actually more interested in making an awesome and complicated background.
I initially wanted to make a detailed background like you see in the works of *johnjoseco
, and maybe even Moe, but getting really into it, I realized that I'll need a lot more practice to get anywhere near the kind of quality I want. I am, after all, just an amateur when it comes to digital art.
So, instead of my original plan, I decided to follow the show's format. It's easy enough being that the MLP backgrounds are minimalistic, but of course it was no small task. It took me a while, but in the end, I think I got it.
BTW, I would have posted this up earlier but my dad wanted to watch a movie with me just as I finished the piece... so, now that it's 1 AM here in Canada, I guess you Australians will get to enjoy this piece first instead of all my fellow Americans below the border. Works for me!
Enjoy the piece!EDIT:
Twilight's eyes were just BUGGING
me to no end! So, even if she wasn't what I made this image for, I just had to fix them.EDIT 2.0:
